Cinnamon Nut Twists

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 ounce) packages refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup walnuts (chopped)

Directions

  • 1 Unroll both tubes of dough; press perforations and seams together to form two rectangles.
  • 2 Spread with margarine.
  • 3 Combine brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over dough.
  • 4 Sprinkle with walnuts.
  • 5 Fold each rectangle in half, starting from a short side.
  • 6 Cut each into eight strips.
  • 7 Twist each strip and tie into a knot.
  • 8 Place on ungreased baking sheets.
  • 9 Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 10 Serve warm.
