Really Easy and Good French Breadsticks

  • 1 large French bread
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened (no subs!)
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 -3 finely minced fresh garlic cloves (or to taste)
  • 4 -5 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or 2 -3 teaspoons dried parsley flakes


  • 1 Set oven to broil heat.
  • 2 Prepare a foil-lined cookie sheet or shallow baking pan, and spray lightly with non-stick cooking spray.
  • 3 Cut the bread loaf into three even pieces.
  • 4 Then cut again into desired size strips (you should have between 12-14 strips depending on what size you cut them.
  • 5 In a small bowl, mix softened butter, Parmesan cheese, garlic and parsley; stir well to combine.
  • 6 Spread on each stick.
  • 7 Place on prepared baking pan.
  • 8 Broil until brown and crispy.
