Peppermint Brownies

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate squares
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • 1 Melt chocolate and butter in a saucepan and slowly add sugar stirring constantly until blended.
  • 2 Add beaten eggs and stir in peppermint extract.
  • 3 Remove from heat and add flour and salt.
  • 4 Pour into a greased and floured 9x9 square cake pan and cook at 350 degrees for 25- 30 minutes.
